I'm Bar, the founder of Bear Studios, based in Tel Aviv, Israel. My work as an oil painter lives in the space between the representational and the raw — detailed craftsmanship colliding with unconventional ideas.

Every painting is a conversation between the image and the emotion underneath it. I work in oil because nothing else holds light — and darkness — quite the same way.
