My name is Bar, and I'm the founder of Bear Studios. I was born in Israel into a deeply creative family — my mother is an artist and my father sculpts with cake. I always knew I loved art, but it wasn't until my early twenties that I started exploring the styles and techniques I truly make my own.
קוראים לי בר, אני המייסד של Bear Studios. נולדתי בישראל למשפחה יצירתית במיוחד — לאמא אמנית ולאבא שמפסל בעוגות. תמיד ידעתי שאני אוהב אמנות, אבל רק לקראת גיל ה-20 התחלתי לחקור ולגלות את הסגנונות והטכניקות שאני באמת משתמש בהם.
My work specialises in the collision between the realistic world and the naive imagination of childhood — I bring these two worlds together in a single fleeting moment that feels intensely vivid yet full of innocence. I love exploring that space, and I travel between exhibitions worldwide to share my art as broadly as possible.
ביצירה שלי אני מתמחה בשילוב העולם הריאליסטי אל מול הדמיון הנאיבי של ילדים — אני מפגיש את שני העולמות הללו ברגע חולף שנראה אינטנסיבי אך עמוס בתמימות. אני נהנה לחקור את המרחב הזה, ומטייל בין תערוכות ברחבי העולם כדי להפיץ את האמנות שלי.
I believe that every person, of any age and from anywhere, carries some abstract, naive childhood memory that stands in contrast to the sometimes harsh world we live in. I opened this online store so that people who can't afford a large original oil painting can still enjoy a piece of art with real meaning and intention.
